Can we build training without an instructional designer?
Yes. Enter a topic or upload a document and Cognitivv's AI builds the full course structure — no instructional designer, no authoring software. An admin reviews the generated outline, chats with the built-in AI Consultant to adjust it, and edits from there — reviewing a draft, not building one from scratch.
How it works in Cognitivv
- Start from a topic or a document. Type a topic, or upload a PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, or slide deck — either is enough to start.
- Cognitivv builds the structure. The AI generates a full course outline — modules, lessons, quizzes, and a final exam — without templates, storyboards, or authoring software.
- Review, don't build. An admin reviews the generated outline and chats with the built-in AI Consultant to adjust tone, depth, or content — editing a draft, not assembling one from scratch.
- Assign to a team. Once approved, the course goes to specific roles, teams, or individuals, with deadlines and passing scores set per course.
- Certify automatically. Certificates are issued once a learner passes the assessments — no separate grading step.
What it doesn't do
Cognitivv doesn't remove the need for a subject-matter reviewer — someone still checks the generated outline before it reaches a team. What it removes is the authoring work: no storyboarding, no slide design, no manually writing quiz questions. An admin edits an outline through the AI Consultant; they don't build a course in authoring software from a blank page.
